still a special company, but for how much longer?

Pros

truly global, multicultural company - strong franchise; SWIFT business card opens doors few people ever walk through. High salaries, travel opportunities.

Cons

cooperative status and its board make it very conservative, even outside the core messaging business, where failure can indeed not be an option. Office politics, bureaucracy, underestimated ignorance prevent success of all new products bar a few, since many years.

- The team is good, and there are many opportunities to get within the company.

Cons

The micro-management in this company is the worse: Use Sales-force to keep monitoring employees update works or not. Only care for results by numbers not quality.

Pros

- Supportive and helpful colleagues from SWIFT offices around the world - Opportunities to go for relevant trainings internally or externally - Internal mobility - Agile methodology, working in sprints, team respects our capacity per sprint - Nice office with modern office assets (dual screens, adjustable work desk, Cisco/Logitech teleconference setup etc.), pantry with snacks and sodas, game room, shower room, prayer room, nursing room etc. - Many activities organised by committees - 3 days work from home per week - 7.5 hours daily working hour, flexi hours possible - MC not required for sick leave

Cons

- Increment could be better - Bonus could be better - No retention plan / bonus - Time difference with colleagues from other time zone can lead to late meetings - Difficult to get promoted or get big pay raise. They have budget for new hire but no allocation for retaining existing staff.
