Pros

SYSPRO is the real deal. Family-like culture; executives and senior management are very accessible and friendly; Proudly South African company with a global footprint; this company is known for its great benefits and employee wellness; 37 year-old company that is well established.

Cons

There are not a lot of young people and company culture and social activities are not catered towards young adults; although this is a new focus.

Pros

Well established and successful company that had a committed and engaged workforce who were able to achieve amazing feats to maintain a competitive product.

Cons

The latest trend has been to move away from nurturing a happy working environment in favour of 'chasing the buck', no matter the cost to morale. A number of people are of the opinion is that SYSPRO is gearing up to either sell or list the company in order to make the executives even richer.

Pros

People who work there are great for the most part. Good work/life balance and very flexible to hours and time needed off. company is growing quickly which allows staff to take on new responsibilities and hold different hats or learn. they are all about pushing core values and creating a good company culture. theres definitely a reason why people come to this company and dont leave. they have a really good medical plan and 401k. fun company parties and they often provide catering and food for employees which is a huge plus. location is also great right next to south coast plaza and freeways.

Cons

not open to people working mobile or from home. should be more flexible to that, even if only for one day a week. there are some people who have worked there for like 15 years or more and are stuck in their ways and not open to new processes which can cause friction but exec management has done a good job at trying to balance the old with the new. compensation is kind of low.
