      Teen Summer Job

      Pros

      Classic teen summer job. The hourly wage goes up the longer you work. There are other teens working there so as a teen I wasn't always bored.

      Cons

      Strict and unreasonable supervisor. A large divide between the older staff and the younger seasonal staff. Working at retail in Safeway isn't really something that will impress other employers on your resume unless you're trying to get into retail again. The younger employees are more likely to get long odd hours.

      I work for safeway over ten years. I like most co-worker. most of them are great people.

      Cons

      only one cashier on the shift, check out lane very long, not enought help. schuedle only 20 hours per week . most employer have to find second jobs , make enought money to support their family.
