      work outdoors, lots of customer social interaction, will work with you for hours, fast pace. good place to loos weight,

      Cons

      customers are rude, managment doesn't care, breaks are when you can get them ie: not scheduled, "go when its slow" . the speed of what you have to do. i could do 86 cars in an hour. most people cant do that. customers coming in backward always sucks, getting halliard at

      Expect Disappointment

      Pros

      I have been working at Safeway for 3 months, what I like about working here is that your fellow courtesy clerks are nice and friendly and somewhat supportive. Working here gives you 10% off employee discount and S.C.E.A perks (discount admission fees of events) benefits.

      Cons

      However, working as a courtesy clerk can be very stressful and overwhelming. Expect your wage to be 10 cents above minimum wage, pushing in heavy carts from parking lot in all COLD, HOT and RAINY weather conditions for an hour. Also expect to be cleaning bathrooms. The management team I found is not really all that supportive and also found them to be very micro-managing even when you are trying your hardest to do the tasks well.

      Pros

      Work there for more than a year , there are a lot of good people who work hard . I enjoyed working there in the beginning.

      Cons

      Its understaffed. 110% turn over due to Demanding Store manager. Got a friend who got fired because he was bullied by the alcoholic supervisor and alcoholic assistant supervisor. Had a supervisor would go home drinking and had a assistant supervisor would come to work drunk. Though reported to security ,security DID NOTHING, Store Manager and managerial staff did Nothing and was told that I have to deal with that. Oh yea, I already have the security on speed dial. It was the probably I complained that at the tenth or more time to supervisor, managers , security that I finally decided to quit. I refused to work with drunk people. Because I have seen them how they retaliate and got a friend fired. Work becomes stressful.
