Pros

Safeway is a good place to work. It's unionized so you get good pay, my starting pay was $13. They do a good job of training you, the staff are very friendly. It was easy to swap hours and the bakery always closes at 8 pm so you're never there too late

Cons

Customers can be rude, but then again customers are always rude everywhere. Things can get a little messy with bread crumbs and garlic butter everywhere and you're standing for long periods of time.

Pros

Great overall environment. The place is filled with customers all day, at times it may be busy but the time does go by fast.

Cons

Lots of walking around and at times you have to get carts. It can be extremely busy. Job is full of physical work never able to sit down
