The good ole boy club is strong here. Most women that have who have ideas and improvement suggestions are set aside, even persecuted. I had words said to me after suggesting process improvements such as “our process is great, we just need to follow it.” When people do not inherently follow your process, a root cause and analysis needs to be done to improve the process or hold people accountable. I’m sure they will choose similar leadership to what existed before, just in a different male form. Always males. Nearly all males running each plant. There were people at that plant gone now that could have improved your profit. Though my multiple degrees and multiple years of Saft knowledge was clearly not enough (the wrong degrees, not engineering). Apparently that makes me incapable of learning, right?
