We appreciate your feedback! At Sage, personal and professional growth is one of our core values. In addition to you driving your own growth, as an organization we hold annual reviews to help assess our associates. We continue to drive our yearly Talk Talent program, that allows us to help develop our associates into resonant leaders and place-makers of our organization. In regards to opportunities, each week we send out a list of internal opportunities called "Opportunity Knocks". Keep an eye out for it on our digital Sage Connect boards or hung in the back of house at your location. We hope to alert our associates of the career opportunities and paths they can take advantage of or grow into with Sage. If you have a chance, check out our Faces of Sage program on Facebook (@mysagecareer) that highlights Sage associates who have carved their own career path at Sage through hard work over years, at different Sage locations and in different roles. Finally there's our website, sagehospitality.jobs, where you can empower yourself and find a list of open opportunities within the company! Communication is something we are working on as an organization. With the fast pace of the industry, the growth of Sage in general and having 90+ locations across the country, it's has proved difficult, but not impossible, to communicate across the board. We are definitely making strides to communicate more effectively with all of our locations and associates. We appreciate you letting us know your thoughts! If you have any additional feedback you'd like to share, please reach out to myvoice@sagehospitality.com with any additional details. Thank you!

Pros

Paycheck, some benefits, good coworkers to suffer with, that's about it. I've heard if you're closer to head office it's a lot better.

Cons

Wages are not competitive, since the head office is in Denver they want to micromanage upper management with constant conference calls so that they can't actually manage the hotel themselves. They do everything to save a dollar, but still expect employees to do the impossible without giving them any tools of success. They're rather keep hiring new people than train and retain current employees. Upper managers abuse unlimited time off but lecture mid managers and staff about overtime, but refuse to assist.
