Pros

Neat hotel properties with a lot of character

Cons

They have plenty of processes for things but zero desire to show you how those work. Incorrect paychecks, benefits that don't work, Senior Management that has more interest in drinking together on their properties then helping the properties flourish. Plenty of excuses for all of the things they get wrong and if they can blame the little guy they will.

I am so sorry to hear of your disappointment while working at Sage Hospitality. Our associates are the key to our success and I truly value each and every associate. I hope that while you worked at Sage you were able to give a more detailed description of your concerns to a Human Resources Manager or associate so that we can work to improve on areas that may be necessary in our company. Based on your review it is difficult to determine what your concerns were regarding and also how we might be able to make any necessary changes. Though I appreciate your feedback, it is most helpful to find out exactly what associates’ areas of concern are. I would encourage you to provide more detailed feedback by reaching out to myvoice@sagehospitality.com. I wish you the best of luck in your future career opportunities.

Pros

good benefits( just because the place where I work is part of the Hilton). new hotel. located in Philadelphia.

Cons

Management is so greedy. they only care about having their pockets full of money and keep them for themselves making sure they get a big bonus in the end of the year and pretending that we do not know what is going on. hourly rate even after the raise is NOTHING compare to what you do and how much you give to the company and guests every single day. people are so fake and so employees. We always have to pretend that we are happy. Food in the cafeteria is not good either. We do not want lobster and crabs but not even food with mold left outside all day. Employees keep getting sick because the food is not fresh especially during the weekend when HR, Sales and Accounting department are not here. We do not feel appreciated at all. there is not a chance or opportunity to grow in a company like that. seems that when they are positions open, they hire somebody who already has experience in the field and is coming from another property.. instead of training you.

Dear Logan Receptionist, Thank you for sharing your feedback and concerns regarding your experience at The Logan. Providing a great working experience where there is genuine care and concern for all of our associates is so incredibly important. I want you to feel supported, encouraged and listened to and my goal is to work together to ensure there is an environment where you do not have to pretend to be happy. My goal is to provide transparency around property initiatives and clear communication. Your feedback regarding the employee cafeteria has been shared with the team and while we all agree having this benefit is wonderful for our associates, we need to ensure it is consistent 7 days a week for all three meal periods. I am looking forward to working through changes with the front office team and creating an environment in the front office that is personally and professionally rewarding. Sincerely, JoAnn Wrenn
