Pros

*Good work-life balance *Company flexible in many terms: salary, PTO, benefits *Great people in some areas, very knowledgeable, happy to support, to share their knowledge

Cons

*Poor leadership team, old-fashioned, most of major so-called leaders are +50, no fresh blood. *Command-and-control organization, very mission driven but midle-management not able to get the ball rolling *Promotion schemes unclear, reward and recognition not in place therefore having a very poor talent management process *Very low level of confidence between the different organization layers

Thank you for sharing your review. Our colleagues are an integral part of Sage, we couldn’t put our customers first without you working so hard. As a current colleague, you are aware we are undertaking a period of organisational change to make us stronger, better and more customer focused than ever before. We recognise not everyone will be happy with changes – it’s not easy. Some of the changes we are making will ensure talent management is at the heart of our people processes. Also reward and recognition is important to all of us. We are committed to making improvements to enhance the lives of our colleagues. Thank you once again for sharing your view, employee feedback is very important to us. I would urge you to speak to your manager as well.

Pros

as a fellow co-wor.. colleague* mentioned below, Sage does have some pretty awesome office chairs and top-of-the-line doors. another neat feature of this company is their all-hands pow-wows, which usually consists of some top brass trying to create excitement and a positive environment using outdated buzz words, resulting in crickets from the peanut gallery. its pretty amusing hearing their struggle. the free snacks that follow these uplifting hours of life that we'll never get back are probably the only other pro to this place, besides the chairs and doors. and pens. pens so great, jordan belfort couldn't even sell them to you

Cons

sir richard branson will be in attendance this year at sage summit. ill be anxious to see all of the baffled looks on the top brass faces when he talks about why companies should put their employees first and customers second. im willing to bet they'll just nod in agreement (to disagree) and sweep it under the rug like they do everything else.

Thank you for taking time to post your review. I am sorry you feel Sage doesn’t value its employees. As a current colleague, you are aware we are undertaking a period of organisational change to make us stronger, better and more customer focused than ever before. Change is unsettling and can affect people in various ways. Sage truly values each and every colleague. We know we cannot deliver fantastic new products, respond to customers, and drive our business forward without every colleague working together. We work hard to find ways to reward and recognise employees from the Platinum Elite scheme at the top end, to generous benefits at the other - right to saying ‘thank you’ or ‘good job’. It’s not just about benefits and rewards, it’s about recognising and appreciating our colleagues – we do this, but always open to suggestions about how we can do this better. As you are a current colleague, I urge you to speak with your manager. Thanks again for your feedback.

Pros

This company has pens, telephones, employees, and desks with chairs. There are people who work here everyday. There are windows and doors in the buildings.

Cons

-Poor, technologically weak and outdated products -Cumbersome product development protocols -Excessive pressure to follow outdated and slow UK processes -Low pay -Unqualified VPs that have old ways of thinking -No future direction is evident -Poor communication among departments -Big blame game is encouraged everywhere -CYA mentality runs rampant -No innovation -Worst job experience ever

Thank you for taking the time to post your review. It is disappointing to hear that you have a negative outlook of Sage but we appreciate all employee feedback. As a current employee you will be aware that the past year in particular, we have been working hard to transform the business, and that the purpose of the transformation is to make us a stronger business which will allow us to operate more effectively and deliver more value for our customers. Our future focus is very exciting and we are confident that our partnerships we are growing will continue to help us deliver long term benefits; but we are aware that moving through a change programme can be difficult at times. We believe in our brand and that our CEO and Leadership team have built a winning strategy that will continue to deliver positive results for our business and make us stand out against our competition. If you haven’t done so already, we would encourage you to talk with your current Manager to share your feedback and thoughts.
