Chaotic Leadership, No Growth Path

Business Outlook

Pros

None, none, none and none

Cons

There is no real long-term vision. The company has no clear 5-year plan, yet employees are expected to somehow create their own path without guidance, structure, or support. There is no defined growth track, no transparent promotion criteria, and no meaningful development opportunities. Promotions and recognition do not feel performance-based. Advancement appears to depend on whether you “fit the mold” and favoritism rather than merit. Leadership lacks direction and consistency, and decisions are often reactive instead of strategic. It creates an environment of constant chaos where priorities shift daily and employees are left scrambling. Upper management comes across as disconnected and entitled, with little understanding of how to effectively run or scale a company. There is a lack of accountability at the top, and employees are expected to absorb the impact of poor planning and leadership missteps.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear this has been your experience: it’s definitely not the environment we are working to build. Clear direction, transparent growth opportunities, and consistent leadership are priorities for us. While we’re a growing organization and continue to refine processes and communication, we absolutely have long-term plans for the business and we are working hard to ensure expectations around performance cycle (which we have been transforming since December 2025), advancement (which happens during our twice-yearly promotions cycle), and development opportunities (which we offer through a number of internal programs and external platforms) are applied fairly and communicated clearly. It’s troubling that these efforts have not been visible to you, and your experience tells us we need to work harder. At the same time, building a company in a dynamic environment requires navigating ambiguity, and we recognize that this won’t be the right fit for everyone. As we scale, we’re laying solid foundations, strengthening internal structures, and improving clarity and transparency for everyone. If you’re currently part of SageSure and are open to it, we hope you will speak with your manager or a trusted member of the People Team to share some of these concerns directly. We value open dialogue and want to ensure employees feel heard and supported, and connecting your experience to the team you operate within will help us process this feedback, and learn and grow more effectively. Thank you again for taking the time to share your perspective.

Great Company, Room for Improvement on Pay

Pros

SageSure is a well-run, innovative company with a strong culture of collaboration and support. Leadership is approachable, teams are generally aligned, and there’s a clear sense of purpose across departments. The company is growing steadily and offers interesting challenges for those looking to make an impact in the insurance and tech space.

Cons

That said, compensation tends to lag behind industry standards. While the work environment and growth opportunities are appealing, the pay may not reflect the level of talent or effort required for many roles. For employees who are mission-driven and value a strong team culture, SageSure offers a fulfilling experience. However, those prioritizing competitive salaries might find the pay structure limiting over the long term.
