      Pros

      I work with the most wonderful superiors in Saince. Going on 5-1/2 years now. From day one, I just knew this would be the place for me. I had previously worked 18 years for another company, only to be let go. Saince opened the door for me, and I couldn't be happier. The support staff are always there when I need help, and they are always encouraging. The environment is very professional. Great place to work!!

      Cons

      A lot of straight typing, however, the speech recognition is here, and increasing daily. The previous company had 95% speech recognition, was an adjustment but it all worked out just fine. Otherwise, I have nothing to say negatively at all. Thankful to be here.

      Management MIA, Did Not Pay Fairly--NO PAY FOR SPACES BETWEEN CHARACTERS!

      Pros

      Psych, psych, psych -- my specialty for 25 years. And that, aside from being able to work from home, was the ONLY pro.

      Cons

      Did not pay for spaces between characters!!! Manager was MIA most of the time on a brand new account. I finally left with Thought that the slightly lower line count would be all right because of my overall speed and ability to create shortcuts/normals. Then when it seemed far too low compared to any account I'd previously had, I found out they didn't pay for spaces. Lesson learned - now I always ask. I worked for them back in 2013 or 2014 - maybe things have changed, but given how this industry has had such a downturn, probably not.

      Pros

      Easy to use platform, fast, no lag time. Challenging, interesting transcription work, learn something new every day. Message system with support online just about anytime.

      Cons

      Line rates are low throughout the industry. Saince is on par with other companies.
