Pros

Pay, depending on department, is good. Benefits are great, including PTO, ESL, 403B. Health insurance plan offers savings if you establish with Saint Luke's physicians and use their pharmacy. Education reimbursement is available if you are looking to go back to school. Opportunities for advancement in IT are available.

Cons

Benefits are being cut a little at a time since 2010 due to Affordable Healthcare Act, but are still great.

Pros

Faith based organization that really cares about the patient experience. They are non for profit which adds to their integrity. They are consistently ranked highest in patient satisfaction.

Cons

In some instances, it can be hard to work cohesively as a health system because there are 11 hospitals and they are focusing in systematizing a lot of things.
