Great Residents, Poor Management with HHA staff esp in Memory care

The residents were the reason I went to work

Cons

Management's lack of communication was awful, frequently short staffed, initial training was alright, high turn over. Lack of time by management spent with residents of memory care. Nurse often left early and was not really a good fit to be in memory care.

Beautiful campus with ugly upper management. Sacrifice quality and care to pay for the building perhaps? Training non-existent, do not care about employees who have been loyal and sacrificed all for the company.

Residents are great, co-workers not so much

Pros

Great residents, knowing your making a difference in the lives of the elderly for the better through the cares that you provide for them.

Cons

Co-workers will not help you but expect you to drop everything and help them, many CNA's will skip ADLs or rush through them just to be done, communication is lacking big time
