Pros

Salary.com sits on a wealth for relevant content and human talent that makes them very dangerous under the right leadership structure.

Cons

Salary.com talks too much theory and not enough lets do it. They claim resources are the main reason for challenges and lack for action; however, similar size software companies do a lot more with less employees.

Good training but has a lot of assignments everyday.

The compensation was very low. The company pays in RMB (Chinese Yuan) but does not base payments on the current exchange rate. Instead, they claim to follow the rate from the past 12 months, which is unreasonable. We were also not informed about the payroll cut-off, which occurs at the end of each month. Although we underwent nearly three weeks of training, we only received compensation equivalent to seven days of work. There was a clear lack of transparency regarding pay and processes. Ironically, the company provides services to help other organizations ensure fair compensation, yet it fails to apply the same principles internally.
