Pros

There are a few - it's a big company with a lot of opportunity for moving around the country.

Cons

Don't trust the management. At all. They will work you to death, make promises, and then break them.

[From Darin Anderson, CEO] This is tough to read, especially knowing you spent so many years with us. Trust really matters to me, and it’s disappointing to hear that’s where things broke down. With all our decisions, we always try to balance the well-being of our team members and our clients, with team member rewards, and the company’s future. I wish you had felt comfortable bringing this to me directly, because I don’t want anyone here to feel the way you describe. I’m sorry this was your experience, and I’m grateful for the contributions you made during your time with us. I truly hope you find success in the future.

Pros

Staff is highly dedicated and talented. Mentorship is highly encouraged and pay is aligned with the industry. Access to good projects throughout the country, with some overseas projects when they come up. Huge opportunity for growth.

Cons

Processes and information shared within the larger organization as well as in the branch office is still working as if it's in the late 90's/early 2000's. Some managers think it's ok to yell at staff which is tolerated. If you're into bro culture, this place is for you.

[From Darin Anderson, CEO] I appreciate your feedback and agree—our continued growth has created exciting opportunities, bringing impactful projects across the country and around the world. This expansion not only strengthens our business but also opens new paths for our team members to develop and thrive. At the same time, we take great pride in fostering a culture of respect, open dialogue, and strong leadership. If anyone is being spoken to in a way that is demeaning or disrespectful, that is simply not acceptable. Respect, integrity, and leading through actions—not just words—are fundamental to who we are. Anything less does not align with our values. You’ve likely heard me speak about my commitment to building a workplace where people can grow both personally and professionally. Disagreements are natural, but they must lead to constructive conversations, not negative ones. If you’ve experienced otherwise, I encourage you to reach out to either HR or myself or another leader. A culture of trust and open communication is essential, and I appreciate your feedback as we continue strengthening that foundation.

Pros

Discipline leads are helpful, yet overbooked.

Cons

Workload was excessive and stressful. Rare to give or receive help from other offices. No discipline specific onboarding training.

[From Darin Anderson, CEO] This is a tough one for me to read, as it is never our intent for anyone to feel stressed or unsupported in their work. What you described does not align with the approach our leaders strive to embrace, and I am sorry this was your experience during your brief time with us. While our work can be challenging and timelines demanding, we prioritize strategic staffing and encourage work-sharing across teams to balance workloads. When one area is at capacity, we actively seek opportunities to share resources across groups to alleviate pressure. We also staff up to ensure the highest-need roles are filled—in the last year we hired over 700 team members, not including those from mergers. Collaboration is at the heart of our success, and we work regularly with our leaders to address barriers and ensure mutual support remains a core part of our culture. Creating an environment where every team member can thrive is central to our mission, and we deeply value the perspectives and contributions of everyone on our team. I appreciate your sharing this feedback and wish you nothing but success in your future endeavors.
