CEO and CFO are both great and competent guys Excellent instrumentation in lab Great co-workers outside the lab High potential to be a great organization/lab

Cons

High turnover of talented employees, TROUBLEMAKERS REMAIN Fears of unionization are warranted due to HR practices - not even handed or good listeners Politically competitive and unhealthy work environment due to incompetent Supervisory personnel playing favorites and 'snitches' i.e. Supervisors are the problem not the solution (incompetence). Lazy and trouble-making employees are favored above committed, competent, hard workers who speak up on behalf of the hospital patient's.

Pros

Lots of opportunities, always a lot going on to get involved in. You have to be able to jump right in and help out.

Cons

It is difficult to understand what direction the hospital wants to take, beyond the management fad that is popular at the time. It doesn't affect my day to day job, but it is frustrating to see wasted time and energy.

Delivery of quality care Top-notch nursing staff Commitment to technology Magnet Hospital --------------- As a patient, you really can't get better care anywhere. I can tell you that from experience.

Cons

Not many career paths Employee opinions not valued Diversity not valued or encouraged ---------------------------- Employees are viewed more as numbers or a commodity. The management style is really top-down. In terms of workload, the attitude is "make it happen or we will find someone who will". Overall culture of the hospital is still quite backwards, as many of the employees have never been anywhere else.
