Pros
Salesforce is one of those companies that will always have a good reputation for good reason -- they try to take care of their people, pay can be good, and additional compensation (401K match, ESPP, wellness stipend) are all great.
Cons
Early professionals beware -- this isn't a company to grow at or work your way up. Promotions are severely "backlogged" and doesn't allow for vertical growth. Sales teams are disorgazied and cause a lot of issues for SE teams, without any accountability. Company strategy and vision is unclear, and there is a overwhelming sense that Salesforce is not sure where they are going. Product scope is MUCH too large with heavy expectations on learning new products and capabilities without resources to learn them. SE role is extremely undefined, which leads to mismatched expectations from Sales teams.
