      Could be doing much better

      Pros

      Fantastic perks, awesome co-workers, encourages giving back to the community.

      Cons

      Clueless leadership, high turnover among Director roles and above (don't be surprised if your department reorgs a few times a year). Little to no opportunity to grow unless you're a brown noser, politics are absolutely atrocious. Company is doing well, but at the expense of its employees.

      Politics dominate every decision

      Pros

      Pays well. Cash bonus is nice. ESPP and 401k match, too. Well established processes make build and check-in process easy.

      Cons

      Politics are insane. A few key individuals with terrible instincts and 1990's rechnology skills rule the day. For the past 18 months or so there has been a senior talant exodous as poor technical decisions are forced upon people and they must choose between a nice paying job and their happiness. If you can carve out a niche you can survive for a while but eventually you will need to conform. If you are happy there and see no problems, stay there because you'll fail all interviews at any other up-to-date companies.

      Finance Team Management Extremely Weak Feeding High Turnover

      Pros

      Leader in space, great experience to take elsewhere, some great hard working people, great location, happening city, lots of opportunity to move elsewhere in company if you do not like what you are doing

      Cons

      Terrible culture, finance team had long exhausting hours, the work was not rewarding, people not rewarded, long timers earning tons but new comers do not feel valued after a short period of time, no mentoring etc. There is a lot of talk about work-life balance but finance did not live up to the "chatter"
