Pros

The company is stable and growing.

Cons

Tenure with senior management. Old school way of doing things. Systems are outdated.

Pros

Sally's does a great job of making sure that their employees know what they're doing. Sally's has plenty of incentives for employees and the employee samples are great!

Cons

Sally's does not offer seasonal positions. As a student who comes and goes over vacation breaks there is no may for me to keep my reward points.

Pros

Customers are great! Products are fun. Hours usually flexible Work is not hard Some employee product sampling Work pace is not hectic Employee discount is decent Reward Points

Cons

Store Managers are very unprofessional with employee concerns. Store Managers do not lead by example. Store Managers have no employee relations training. Store Managers gossip about employees to other employees. Store Managers take advantage of work hours (doing personal shopping on the clock, extended lunches, etc.) Store Managers do not reward top producers that are hard workers. District Management has ZERO involvement in employee concerns. District Management treat associates as disposable. District Management shows no concern about the inner workings of the stores Management is not trained to encourage top performers, they are only trained to reprimand for minute drops in numbers. Top performers with experience are seen as a threat to management due to their own insecurities or lack of training? I'm not sure Employee Reward Points are taxed as income when issue, then again with sales tax at the store level.
