Pros

getting paid & having health insurance

Cons

- get paid the bare minimum as a new employee - get the run around on work experience - threatened by management for no reason - no accountability for toxicity - get yelled at and enjoy group punishment for a 20 yr employee's mistake, weekly - enjoy doing more work than all senior employees and receiving no recognition or incentive for being expected to do so - listen to uneducated, inappropriate conversation from management that includes racial slurs, unprofessional cussing, and bickering between different supervisors

Pros

You get a job, that if your working in the correctional institution, pretty much allows you to apply yourself as little as possible. So if you hate People and have a negative attitude, it’s just the place for you. However if you have the slightest bit of positive, care for people, they stomp that fire in you out quickly. Came in positive and optimistic, left with a clear vision of what they are looking for and what they allow, the staff as people are great everyone is nice.

Cons

Can be a bit negative, staff can be a bit overworked so in that aspect can be a cloud of narcissism from the health services Team, just as I was getting used to the routine and starting to relax, I was plucked out, my advice don’t get sick and end up in the hospital while your on your 6 month probation.
