Pros

The end users are great

Cons

Nothing is functional. Everything is in chaos. No one seems to care. Saw major issues that would cause any tech agent to want to find a quick exit. The end users will be the major sufferers as no resolution or time management is being used or sought out. Management will be rude in discrediting a presenter during the presentation meeting. It is highly disrespectful. It is a true rabid dog eat dog environment. There is no communications or critique that can help reform a person to being the ideal candidate. It may be that there is no idea of what an ideal candidate should be.

Pros

Most (not all) of the people who work here genuinely care about the population the clinic is supposed to serve. Some are there for loan repayment only or self aggrandizement on the local / state political scene.

Cons

Chaotic, stressful, overly demanding, duplicitous work environment where some will pose as a friendly face and throw you under the bus in a hot minute. As well the agency used to be focused on supporting migrant workers. Now those people are getting edged out in order to capture as much of the Medicaid population as possible. Salud's main selling point to employees used to be a caring culture with good benefits. In recent years those benefits were cut substantially. Hired after 2016? Too bad you'll never have the kind of time off that someone else does. Are you a 6-7 figure doctor with a stay at home spouse? We'll insure them. Are you a 55k / yr employee whose spouse has to work to afford current housing expenses? Nope, we'll join the only 4% of Colorado companies that actually do this, and deny your spouse coverage.

Pros

Co workers are pleasant to work with. Great job to get your foot in the door if interested in a career in the medical field.

Cons

Working at the front can be tedious due to front desk management. High turnover again due to front desk management. Pay increases are minimal.
