Pros

Medium size campus, tenure, people are nice to work with and flexible in scheduling, there's room for creativity. There's a chance to travel to conferences. Improving job skills is often funded and highly supported.

Cons

Small and boring town. Though the school isn't religious, many of the workers are outspokenly so and can make a person uncomfortable. The open hours are ridiculous when there are few students who use the library so late or early. Tenure can be stressful to acheive and may be frustrating when you want to focus solely on your job but find yourself forced to publish or lose the job.

Pros

As a student they work well with your school schedule, friendly supervisors, and decent wages for an on campus job.

Cons

Too many bosses, I have 6 people above me and i'm not at the bottom of the totem pole. Sometimes the work is hectic, and other times it's extremely dull.
