Pros

Good pay for the managers, better benefits than Wal-mart

Cons

Manager in Training program did not have a clear path to an assistant manager position at the end of the pipeline. (I was an external hire, so I did not have a position to return to.) Was expected to interview again for positions as they opened, and ended up being a floating body once my training was complete, and was waiting for openings in the district.
