Pros

They can set you up with a company linked pay card if you're so broke that you don't have a bank account, which can help you get on your feet. Sometimes you meet great co workers. Don't rely on that though. I literally could turn my phone off once I left work. They did not demand I be available for calls, which I can respect.

Cons

They will use you outside of your job description. Expect you to multi-role for no extra pay, then coach you for daring to work overtime to complete tasks. No vertical advancements unless you have any random degree or prior management experience. They will tell you that you are part time, then work you forty hours a week for literally four and a half years or more, then the moment they could transition you to full time, they hire a new person for you to train and don't give you a guaranteed full time position. Expect them to cut your hours the moment they can.

Pros

Decent pay, benefits, and holiday schedule for retail.

Cons

Work can be hard/ demanding. Can seem understaffed at times. Constant call outs from the teenagers hired.
