Pros

great benefits great people. So much to do. You are always busy. Great employee discounts and it never gets boring even after working there for 10 years.

Cons

Too many old snobbish people. I was forced to quit school for a while because management made me chose between.

Pros

Employees were nice and friendly. It was a good environment from that stand point. You will stay busy the whole time.

Cons

Constantly short handed. Management blames you for things that are not your fault. People get fired for no reason and they do not hire from within the company. People constantly come and go and no one cares. It is a shame some people are stuck working here.

Pros

The co-workers are for the most part pretty cool. While there are those who don't quite fit in, there is a strong team atmosphere. And if you can get a good supervisor that just makes it even better.

Cons

While i have never personally experienced the horror stories of working for the Wal-mart Corp, I can assure you they do exist. I've had co-worker not get time off, that had already been approved. Promotions would be based on popularity rather than, actual work ethic. When it gets busy managers run around like a chicken with their head cut off. Good luck getting a full time position, most positions are part time with maybe 2 or 3 full time position per department. This is so they can cut down on giving benefits. So they horror stories are true but there are some happy ending there as well.
