Very cool tech; corporate culture/management could use some work
Pros
This company is building very cool tech. They are really pushing the boundaries of what is possible in deep learning hardware. The company is very ambitious in launching new products and encourages you to work in all aspects of their SW stack. They pride themselves in maintaining a "no boundaries" startup culture even as they grow. You can work on things outside your core expertise. They seem to promote people quickly and do a good job of retaining their talent.
Cons
The corporate culture is difficult at times. There are some people with really big egos who bully the new hires into doing their work for them. Most of the work is done by a small percentage of the engineers, who are stressed out and irritable. Some managers are ineffective at delegating tasks and setting clear priorities. The vast majority of the devs are inexperienced, so many people overestimate their competence, and tend to reinvent the wheel. People spend way too much effort chasing after technical debt, taking pride in how "our stack" works rather than thinking about the best way to design things.
