- Engineering challenges at scale

Cons

Rogue management. Lower management passes on the pressure to the engineers, upper management is hostile and appears very comfortable using threat as a means to an end. There are no consequences for psychological intimidation. Glorifies individuals who don’t care for work life sanity. Very little real care for employees (though Hr try to compensate by shipping goodies now and then). Lower than average pay, no performance reviews, no growth.
