The below comments are not only my general feedback but that of over 50 people I've talked to within the Samsung Plano office. A majority of people feel this way: You feel it the second you walk into this workplace, nothing but weighed down people. Mistreated by leaders who expect you to perform at a high level or you will be reprimanded. Leadership and management rarely offer any guidance, coaching, or time. The pay is decent but that is LITERALLY the only positive here. Very little room for promotions and a majority of workers are contractors that get mistreated constantly. Recent layoff sremoved 30% of US staff and no one even had the opportunity to say goodbye, just abruptly layed off and never heard of again... Samsung DOES NOT care or value it's employees. The company's core values are a hypocrisy and not followed by Leadership, Management, HR, or Headquarters. Its like these values are used to hold the entry/mid level employees accountable but no one else. AVOID this company at all costs, not worth the pay. Average employee lifespan here is 1.5 years, this makes sense given all the above.
