Pros
Good pay. Really good engineers and PMs. Enjoyed working with them.
Cons
No leadership and no north star strategy. SEA ecom management was a joke. No backbone. Always bending to the Suwon HQ demands. SEA leaders know if you raised your concerns or challenge HQ, you got chopped. Lots of work by engineering and product teams would get thrown out just because Suwon decided to change things at the last minute and teams had to scramble constantly. Couldn't even use AI tools because Suwon said no. Then they proudly deployed an internal AI chat tool that was completely useless. Perhaps things have gotten better in 2026 but doubt it.
