      Pros

      There are some truly brilliant people at NEXT. If only their talents were realized and allowed to shine. Unfortunately many have already left. Compensation is above average.

      Cons

      Note: This review is for the product org within NEXT. This job crushed me. It felt like everyone was set up to fail given the unattainable goals, unreasonable OKRs, and unrealistic expectations of one's productivity. I sat through countless meetings where I experienced yelling, bullying, and treatment that I, and others, felt was totally disrespectful and out of line. Many, many nights I would leave the office feeling completely dejected and disrespected.

      A great idea, but model can't work with conservative leadership

      Pros

      Some change is occurring but it will take many more years. Some smart people have been hired. Pockets of the culture are good but mostly fear-driven.

      Cons

      NEXT is still too tethered to a corporate Korea conservative mindset. Way too much time managing Korea. In order to be innovative, you need innovative leadership and higher toleration for risk.
