Pros

The quality of the productions is outstanding, and makes me proud to help put the productions onstage. There are so many talented and wonderful colleagues.

Cons

There is a high level of quality and commitment expected from all artists, union members, and support staff. As a low-level support staff member, I receive low wages and have no union benefits. It is nearly impossible to sustain life in San Francisco as as assistant as SF Opera.

A work culture that actively encourages harassment and bullying with an only nominal HR Department that can offer zero assistance.
