Pros

Family like atmosphere and culture. The company is growing, new people being hired in every department. The managers are nice and available. I am happy to be working here.

Cons

The benefits could be better.

Pros

good cafe - good food at a good price newer building plenty of parking more good people than bad to work with most people are customer focused cornered market and SanMar is at the top (for now) loyal customer base

Cons

lowest pay in the area micromanagement culture little to no career opportunities or incentives for technology people cube farm work environment silo-ed organization that's expect to share resources not enough resources to accomplish what is expected technology infrastructure is about 3 decades behind the times and failing everyday lack of vision from leadership is profoundly crippling progress - working in IT is like sailing a boat without a rudder and any attempts to install one will result in consequences high turn over in IT very few paid holidays lack of transparency around company success and decision making

Pros

Most of the people are very friendly and easy to get along with. If you are good at the job, you can move up in pay quickly from where you start.

Cons

Only about half of the people take pride in their work which is something I value in a workplace. the cap pay seems to decrease over the years instead of increase with cost of living. The wrong people get all the promotions. While the talkers and new hires seem to move up, the hard workers seem to get stuck at their current job position.
