Pros

The culture is absolutely the number one thing that stands out to me - you can tell people really love being a part of this giant family, and it is clear that SanMar invests in its employees. It is exactly the opposite of anything "corporate" and the people truly are nice.

Cons

With it being such a flat organization, there isn't always room for upward mobility and many people aren't ok with that. However it is important to point out that while you can't always climb the corporate ladder, your position is continuously expanding horizontally and the potential for growth and knowledge is unlimited.

Not bad for entry-level

Pros

-Good starting wage ($15/hr), since the only requirement is a GED this is really not bad. If you have a degree in a relevant field it's worth looking outside the CCC or Credit dept when openings come up.

Cons

-Training seems to be lacking, the impression I get from more seasoned employees is that training used to be more thorough but now I'm learning a lot more out of training than I did in it.

Pros

Work at home, great training program

Cons

LOW Pay..poverty level. No room for advancement unless you in with the "IN" Group. Very subjective. Micro Managed. 99% accurancy and productivity in order to bonus. Abusive customer calls, who want everything. Little time to get off phone call work done. Gotta meet your "stats". High stress. No flexability, PTO time only, if you don't get 24 hours notice of needing time off, you get an occurance, even if an emergency.
