Pros

Work-life balance encouraged from the top down. Productive employees with a good attitude are acknowledged and rewarded for their performance. Open door policy and anyone can feel free to talk with anyone in management for direction, input, help, problem solving. Depending on the department & role within SanMar offers employees the option to work remotely which is a huge bonus. Many of us have worked at SanMar for many years & really feel part of the SanMar family. It is such a great place to work!

Cons

There are not many cons to working at SanMar. It truly is a great place to work. The couple I can think of are: Depending on the department, there are not a lot of opportunities for growth in regards to leadership. The IT department does not offer competitive or high paying salaries in comparison to the same role at other technology companies.

Pros

show up and smile, work hours are easy, pay scale isn't great. they advertise that company won't lay people off during hard times. that's because they can't get anyone to work in IT. Upon hire in Issaquah office you get to meet the owner and 7 managers that report to him.

Cons

Technology in this place is in the 80s - that is no joke. the so called "experts" couldn't get a job anywhere else, so they ended up here. keep you head down and collect the paycheck as long as you can tolerate the nonsense. As soon as you tell the truth, you'll become a target.

Pros

Work at home, great training program

Cons

LOW Pay..poverty level. No room for advancement unless you in with the "IN" Group. Very subjective. Micro Managed. 99% accurancy and productivity in order to bonus. Abusive customer calls, who want everything. Little time to get off phone call work done. Gotta meet your "stats". High stress. No flexability, PTO time only, if you don't get 24 hours notice of needing time off, you get an occurance, even if an emergency.
