Pros

Hybrid work (for now) Ethical work environment Fair compensation (for now) - based on the old innovative medicines structure With all the departures and restructuring, you could be one of the select few who come out ahead with a promotion. However, once roles are established, I see very few opportunities for career growth, as the number of positions are shrinking. From a business perspective, Sandoz is doing well and will most likely continue to do well so long as they continue to launch new products

Cons

As part of Novartis, Sandoz was insignificant. Unprofitable for many years but getting bailed out from the innovative medicines business. Now standalone, Sandoz has nowhere to hide. All the previous issues and flaws are magnified and intensified. There are growing pains from the Novartis separation. The mounting pressure to deliver financial results has impacted the organization in many ways: Lack of leadership/revolving door at leadership positions Restructuring has eroded culture and removed job stability Many people in the organization still that don't produce
