Pros

Just don't take a job here. It's a portal to a toxic nightmare. They hire you quickly, tell you how great everything will be and then bang---You have to work holidays, you work incredibly long days, Some young therapists are out of their depths to do the job. Behavioral techs just wonder around and don't know what to do. The management is awful and ineffective. LGBTQ kids are not recognized. Often a dangerous place to work. Basically it's a terribly unprofessional work environment that will wear you down. I believe most kids are triggered by the bad environment and much actually get worse. It's very sad. It's a nice picture of a place but it's a mess and management cares about one thing: money. No real training and the stuff you do doesn't help you. Just don't work here. They make you feel if you aren't like them it won't work.People don't take breaks.

Cons

Pretty place to work and lovely outdoors things.

Thank you for being open about your experience. It’s clear you care deeply about client safety, professionalism, and inclusivity—values that we also believe must be at the heart of any treatment environment. When someone describes their work as exhausting or unsupported, that’s something we take seriously. It sounds like your expectations around training, structure, and leadership didn’t align with what you experienced—and that disconnect is something we’re actively working to better understand and address. Your feedback underscores the importance of listening to our teams, creating clearer boundaries and protocols, and making sure every employee—especially those supporting vulnerable populations—feels equipped and included. We won’t always get everything right, but we are committed to growing from voices like yours. Wishing you clarity and fulfillment in your path ahead.
