Pros

Most of the non-management personnel are friendly,hardworking, knowledgeable people who are happy to be busy. You won't have a difficult time in making friends here.

Cons

Inept management is the primary problem with Sanmina in Fort Mill. Little to no consideration is given to input from any of the technicians, and advice is rarely sought, even from the more experienced technicians. Too much emphasis is placed on appearance, too little on the real problems, such as parts availability and inventory. Management feels that an the use of an assortment of ideologies such as 5S, lean, kaizen, et al, will solve all problems. And there seem to be cash flow problems- the inability to obtain items that are used daily by multiple people,, such as cleaning products that are readily available in small quantities from many retail sources is worthy of question.
