Pros

There’s a lot of good employees and on paper good mission.

Cons

All senior leadership cares about is making money and never thinks about putting their employees first. There is so much turnover in departments, you never know where to go for answers or to get help. Management isn’t held accountable to do their jobs or lead and develop their teams and often use scare tactics to keep us in line. Those in lower levels positions are expected to carry the weight of their managers role and their counterparts that get to work remotely. Each year the HR department conducts an employee survey but consistently sugarcoats the results and refuses to admit things need improvement. If it doesn’t fit their agenda it doesn’t get talked about.

Terrible Culture with no hope of change

Pros

The only reason the day was manageable was because of some great co-workers.

Cons

Upper management is laughable. They spend more time micromanaging and engaging in fake conversations to see what you are doing rather than executing. Some management has no respect for people’s time off or after office hours. Every day there is some sort of fire because of poor planning. No one is held accountable, so nothing gets done. There is a huge double standard for the remote vs. in office employees that has been expressed in employee surveys and conversations with direct manager yet nothing has changed. There is also no career development path even after asking several times on ways to learn and advance your skills.

Good Old Boys Club With Management Issues

Pros

There are some very great co-workers and jeans on Fridays

Cons

Upper management is awful. The senior leadership team is a good old boys club. They lose excellent employees because of the management. The SLT feels the need to walk around and make sure everyone is working because they don’t trust their employees to do their jobs, so they are glorified babysitters. There are a ton of remote employees that are not held accountable and do not get baby sat as the people in the office do. I knew unhappy people in every department with plans to leave. It all starts from the top. More and more turnover is coming. It was the best decision to leave.
