Pros

Company pays for: work shoes, inner souls, prescription safety glasses, Provides uniforms Fast paced, when the machines actually run.

Cons

Stingy annual raises to cost of living ratio. Management doesn’t follow company values. NO yearly bonus in 2023. Proper training is an issue. High number OSHA recordable safety incidents. Language barrier, members don’t understand English. Same operation mistakes happen frequently. High rework percentage due to machine/operator errors. Company made a profit, the workers didn’t see any of it. Lot of down time due to dated machinery, At your cost, you launder your uniforms. Rare to see people stay for more than 5 years due to lack of company integrity.

Pros

+Great place, if your an office person +Has a company Gym, at the Pleasentview Office. Office hours +Office holds various games with prizes. +Good cheese! +I’m currently looking to leave Sartori, due to all the lies and empty promises of getting rid of overtime.

Cons

-Non existent work-life balance -Two 15 min breaks. -Consistently low Days Safe numbers -Company lied to weekend crew that they would be paid for 40 hours for only working 36 hours. -Company talks about being honest, but doesn’t project it to its members -Have to work most holidays, if you want a holiday off, call in. -Pay is not competitive, compared to other cheese companies -Training continues to be an issue. Most members are hurried through training packets without having a grasp of the concepts. -Cross training on other lines is an issue. -Non existent Communication between Team Leads, Process Leads and Line workers. -They repair the machines on the cheap. Causing frequent downtime with the same issue. -No apperception from management . -They don’t seem to like people who do volunteer work. -Overtime has been an issue for 4 years now……with no answer from management. -Work instructions are inaccurate or not complete. -The roof leaks in several production areas after it rains. -Electrical flickers in areas after rains outside. -Scheduling more overtime is always the answer. -Not the best dental plan compared to other like companies. -Not the best vision plan compared to other like companies. -401k match not best. -Turnover rate in Production is sky high due to mandated overtime and holiday work. (No end in sight) -Low yearly bonuses for breaking your back all year-and missing out on family milestones.

Decent Enough

Pros

Decent enough hourly pay. Benefits are pretty good. Consistent work; overtime available most of the time.

Cons

Very poor training. Pay is less than most local, similar companies. Company has more demand for product than they can keep up with. Weekday shifts deal with a lot of OT. Machines never receive routine maintenance, so they have regular problems.
