Pros

Decent salary, and reasonable benefits

Cons

Owner as a supervisor is not a good communicator. If he doesn’t like something or someone you won’t know. The reins of the company are being turned over to a family member that hasn’t worked in the industry except for Saval and family owned meat processing company. Owners first decision is always his best decision; functionally fixed. Management positions are a clique. Company talks a good game but the culture is not what is preached.

Pros

Good company to start at for the beginning of your career. Co-workers are great people to work with and have dedication to their job (many employees have been there for a long period of time). Most of the company benefits are good. They are family-owned/operated.

Cons

Don't expect large increases in salaries or raises. They often give you multiple jobs but no increase in pay. Many of the staff is underpaid compared to the average salary in their position. Healthcare is expensive & require testing, so advice is to get healthcare through your spouse if you can. Management often micromanages employees and sometimes expect work to come before family.
