Pros

Save the Children has got good accounting and financial reporting systems for both internal and donors.

Cons

Sub- offices to have some input in the day to day accounting e.g entering of data in the sun system daily.

Pros

Staff and management have very high standards for our work, in a way that's very inspiring. The work environment is flexible and supportive, with many allowances for working remotely.

Cons

Many people like the office location (Southern CT), but it's a con for me because I find it boring, expensive, and difficult to get to.

Pros

Made some great friends, had some interesting travel opportunities. They felt like my family for the many years I worked there.

Cons

Upper management--lots of changes. Getting used to the pace and vibe of new bosses all the time is tiring, and also affects one's ability to move up. Layoffs and restructuring seems to happen every few years.
