Very poor management

Pros

Work itself was fairly easy, enjoyed customers, enjoyed some of my coworkers

Cons

Low pay. Poor communication from management. My supervisor was unwilling to work around my schedule so they let me go, when I got my final paycheque and info about being let go they said the reason for my termination was that I was going back to school (which was untrue).

Pros

Good benefits (and only good because they tend to overcharge you), good physical exercise provided you work in back and nice small working staff (when it's actually staffed), lots of over time (forced overtime)

Cons

VERY unorganized company, even at the tippy top regional managers and all, very unwise spending if store funds, lack of proper managerial power usage, very poor situation handling, negligent to employee safety, and sexual harassment is overlooked, or given a simple slap on the wrist even for repeated offenses. Oh and they understaff, work whoever is left to the bone, tell us they'll hire and months upon months go by without any one new and still expect the results as if fully staffed. Currently we got one person doing 3 departments.

Pros

The benefits are good and very affordable. Store level management and hourly team members are great to work with.

Cons

This company looks over good, eligible people for promotion and instead forces people who don't desire advancement into positions of authority. I disagree with this method and and foresee only disintegration of this company if they don't start doing things differently. Also the required amount of work for the pay is not evenly balanced nor is it competitive as they claim.
