Pros

I would have to say the best reason to work here is that the company allows each and every team member to do what they are best at. It is also a growth company which means that you can be promoted within the company to management positions.

Cons

Some of the challenges that I faced when I worked there was that it's hard to be able to change to suggest change to Store Managers that have been around a while. Also another thing that I found challenging was the promises were made from senior management for promotion that never became of anything.

Company needs a lot of work

Pros

The team member discount is great, great work mates, some lovely regular customers!

Cons

Senior management needs a lot of work. Any decision that someone makes, constantly gets changed. No policies and procedures are the same between any two stores. Customers get everything handed to them on a silver platter, and it's still not good enough. One Manager will say no, customer gets upset, and then next manager will come in and say yes. Then in the same breath, the manager will say no, and the other one will say yes. Darned if you do, and darned if you don't. Getting abused and yelled at by customers is not much fun on a daily basis, all because the company won't display certain policies at the register. Loss prevention and HR departments are a joke, it takes so long for anything to get done, that one wonders what on earth the point is. There is constant favoritism between some management and others. Team Members have to wait 2 days to buy anything, while customers constantly make a joke of the pricing system, by stealing and price swapping. Long hours, ridiculous expectations, team members often earn more than Managers. 3 years in this company and not a bonus or congratulations/thankyou to be seen. Barely a pay rise. Slavers or Savers?
