Pros

Pay was decent, as were bonuses (if you could reach their ridiculous goals)

Cons

Used to be a great company to work for. Working with the non-profit organizations was always a core value. Development of people and overall company culture. Once the company was acquired by equity partners and looking to go public everything seemed to change. No more nonprofit focus, very little development. People put into position before they were ready. It was all about the bottom line. The company sold the idea of self checkout as more labor to put elsewhere in the store, but that was a lie. Hours were cut massively. District Managers will lie to protect themselves. If you seek the open door policy, those doors will remain shut. You better be a favorite or life will be difficult.
