Pros

Paid weekly and on time Decent equipment No driver cameras Training isn't forced team

Cons

Home time never on time Pay is mediocre at best Miles are there but how they're assigned is a mystery Everyone always blames a different department no matter the issue. Or blames the driver Support shift is a joke that only knows how to read the company policy and not actually do anything. Asking why I've only driven in the NE for a month and hearing that it's because my NAT isn't updated properly is just pathetic. Paid HHG miles. Excuses along the lines of "I don't know any other company that pays differently" when asked about loads that are 700 miles driven but pay 500.

Pros

Truth is you basically get to decide how much money you want to make (up to a point). Intermodal operates very differently from all the other divisions and we all believe it to be the best out of all the options. Better home time( everyday on local and basically every other day on regional) by far and usually better pay. In our area depending on how hard you want to work you can make from 45k-80k. Intermodal isn't really pushy on dispatch. Kind of laid back and don't force you to work any harder than you want. You will just make less and be labeled.

Cons

Too many chiefs who have no experience in the trucking industry. Called a family owned company but really run by a board of directors of which only one is named Schneider and none of the rest have any idea what trucking is about or what drivers deal with. They love to invest in technology that some company sells them without testing it in real-world truck environment. Really slow to react to issues until it's too late and then they overreact. Example being trucks that shut off the cruise when the windshield wipers are on bc one driver out of 11,000 hit and injured someone in rain one day.

Pros

They have a good training program but i can be a little better. Good material and people always being nice. If i need home time than i'll be home.

Cons

They treat every driver the same. They don't make a difference in a new driver with no experience and a experienced driver with a lot of years under there belt.
