"Soul Sucking"

Pros

They have the Graduate Hotel Product (somehow)

Cons

The person how said this company was "soul sucking" hit the nail on the head. I worked for Schulte when they took over a was working for, so I kinda was forced into working for them. Back in October 2018, I posted a review for Schulte. It was removed somehow. I tried again, and that too was removed. I imagine this one will be removed. And seeing all these KY people posting how wonderful Schulte is just screams of a corporate memo. Shame! My previous omitted responses also revolved around regional managers over-the-top reactions to meeting monthly forecasts. They would have on-site personnel run around like chickens with the heads cut off... doing crazy things.

Avoid at all costs

Pros

Used to be ok but they switched regionals and it went downhill

Cons

HR doesn’t research new hires. They hire people to lead regions who’ve been fired for serious offenses at other companies. Lawsuit waiting to happen. The regional sales is inappropriate in how they talk to people especially women. Smoking electric cigarettes in meetings and “jokes/offers” about going to drinks for lunch. Creepy feeling. All of this is compounded by the lack of involvement. A bad star week or revenue and I’d get a call 20 minutes before they had to report something to ownership needing a detailed response. Why don’t you read my reports? Sit on a call? Pay attention? Be involved? The fire drills here are ridiculous and a waist of time. I’d get veiled threats that if things didn’t turn I’d be gone. Repeatedly asked for help or what expectations were to be met with no response or told to call another dos to get help.

Pros

Property team was great, that was all.

Cons

Need a COO that can talk to people and understands the industry. I had 8 different bosses in my tenure. That should tell you all you need to know. Property level was great, corporate office has no clue. No 401K, benefits are horrible, no support.
