Hire a lawyer if you need to use their disability insurance

Pros

Most of my coworkers were friendly.

Cons

Your ability to use the disability insurance is completely dependent upon how much the company likes you. They can end it at any time for any reason by stopping paying the insurance premium. Their disability insurance system also requires you to jump through many hoops, some of which you're not informed of. If you miss one of these hoops the company or insurance agency has an easy excuse to deny you disability coverage.
