Pros

Good exposure to senior management and other teams Good compensation for new hires 401k contribution plus match

Cons

New senior management has been hiring a lot of compliance and middle office staff which makes everything close to impossible to approve. Letting go of staff who has been with the bank for a while means the new hires lacks institutional knowledge. Lots turnover in recent years and many are looking to get out so people who stays are often left with taking care of unfinished business.

Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity for those willing to work. Banking hours are always nice (Although changing for the worse everyday)

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, There are metrics for absolutely EVERYTHING and the change from year to year so success one year may not equal success the next.
