Pros

Potential to rise up through the company very quickly if you work hard and have a supportive manager. Corporate culture is less competitive and cut-throat compared to the other banks. People work together to achieve goals. Starting to have a stronger focus on IT, so lots of potential for job seekers with IT background.

Cons

Pay is lower, compared to the other major Canadian banks. Having worked in three different divisions, your experience varies greatly depending on which area of the bank you work in. Very little consistency working between the divisions gives the impression that the company is not united. Company is also going through a lot of change (eliminating many top executives) and the environment is that your team could easily be moved or eliminated at any time.
