Pros

Credit Union has a strong set of values and a Mission Statement that they adhere to. The President of SCU leads by example. He is a great communicator who has a keen sense of strategy that he uses to provide purpose, growth and motivation to the SCU Board, the SCU Members and the SCU Employees. He is able to lead the growth of the organization while still keeping the employees happy and productive.

Cons

As the credit union grows, cybersecurity threats and staffing are a few challenges that keep the credit union striving to meet its ever growing needs.

Pros

Decent pay Decent hours generally fun place to work, of the three branches that I spent most of my time it was enjoyable to work at.

Cons

Bosses do not listen to other workers. If you have a problem with a manager or leader you will have a generally annoying time while at work... though this is the same at most jobs.

Cons

There is a lot of work available and no pay. They change qualifications for promotions for the people they like and then change them back.

Thank you for your feedback. Scott Credit Union is an affirmative action employer. As a result, every role has basic qualifications which a candidate must meet to be considered. As part of our recruiting process, we encourage internal growth opportunities and selection of the best candidate. From time-to-time qualifications or roles may change, however that is a result of a change in market conditions or business needs and is not based on a specific candidate.
